“in the raw” was created in 2003 when i realized there were few luxury products on the market that were chemical free. i experimented in my kitchen and came up with my “organic” line of sugar scrubs, oils and soy candles. i consulted the finest essential oil companies, worked with local soy growers to confirm my vision could be accomplished. the products didn’t need fillers to maintain a healthy shelf life. through my studies, i found, i could create bubble baths, washes and lotions that were completely natural not needing any fillers, parabens, glycols, mineral oils or sulfates.
the result is a product line offering a luxurious escape from life’s daily demands. handmade from ingredients of the highest quality, we offer a natural alternative for your body and home.
all of our products are handmade. no animal testing has ever been conducted on the production of our products and/or our ingredients.
we use recycled papers to create all our labeling…
our plastics are made here in the US and are 100% recyclable including the pump
our glass is imported from Italy where it is made by hand and shipped to us across the water by boat…
all our materials are purchased from local growers and made here close to home to save on emissions…
we give back to many charities big and small all year long… our clients get to put their two-cents in too… by emailing us you can suggest a charity that you would like us to contribute to and guess what we will…
Practice what you preach, our staff and facility is as green as we can be.. we use incandescent light bulbs, we recycle more than we throw away, we use re-usable rags instead of paper towels, we use filtered water instead of plastics and most importantly we are open to new ideas that will help the environment…
